The DWC Ambassadors

Abby Jayne DeAngelo is a passionate ballet artist with a deep foundation in the art form, having trained under the renowned Marcia Dale Weary at Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet (CPYB) in Carlisle, PA. Her love for ballet extends to teaching and guiding the next generation of dancers, emphasizing the beauty of life in their training. Abby Jayne founded Adage Ballet Academy in Seattle, WA, in 2021, and her extensive teaching experience includes guest teaching at CPYB, private coaching, and virtual classes with BalletTogether. She also danced professionally with Pacific Northwest Ballet (PNB) from 2016 to 2023 and achieved notable roles such as the Sugar Plum Fairy in George Balanchine's The Nutcracker. In June 2023, she transitioned to a freelance career while continuing to share her mission of balanced, joy-filled ballet technique and training with her students. Abby Jayne also achieved a significant milestone by completing ThePointeShop Progressive Pointe Method Basic Training, demonstrating her commitment to enhancing her expertise as she works towards becoming a proficient pointe shoe fitter.

Bethany Lynch graduated from Western Washington University in Spring 2023 as an outstanding graduate with a BFA in Dance, a BA in Business Marketing, and a minor in Arts Enterprise and Cultural Innovation. While in school she was a captain of the WWU Dance Team and VP of all inclusive Dance club SINI-HHA. Since moving to Seattle she has started dancing with multiple groups including The Garden Dance Company and Movement26 and most recently co-founded Kpop cover group KBB Crew.

Jeanne Robson began her dance journey at the age of 5 and never doubted that a dancer was what she wanted to be. She studied at the Atlanta Ballet School and School of American Ballet and began her professional career with Pacific Northwest Ballet in Seattle, during the early years of the company. After taking a break from dance, Jeanne earned a BA in Education and focused on early childhood classrooms for many years - still one of her favorite places to be. Dance came back into her day to day life and currently she teaches ballet at Fidalgo DanceWorks in Anacortes. Jeanne’s students have been all ages from preschool through high school and adult.

Over her years of teaching, Jeanne began to realize how much knowledge and information she had received at such a young age, and how fortunate she was to have had the experiences she did. She began to understand what it means when it is said that it becomes our responsibility to share one's gifts and knowledge and to pass along to others what was given to us. This thread is always present when she is with her students.

Bella Fassio is a ballet and modern dancer with Maple Valley School of Ballet. She is currently getting an AA degree in fine arts at Green River College, with future plans of pursuing an Early Childhood Education and Dance degree. She started dance at a young age, taking a variety of styles, before starting at MVSB at age 5. Her focus on ballet has created a life-long love for movement, and getting to help teach others. She hopes to have a career in dance, and to run a studio someday.
